41 dead, 24 injured in bus attack on Karachi's Ismaili community

Six unidentified assailants on motorbikes opened fire on a bus belonging to the Ismaili community in Karachi’s Safora Chowrangi area, leaving at least 41 dead and 24 injured on Wednesday. Initial reports revealed that the motorcyclists used 9mm pistols in the attack which killed 41 persons and left two dozen injured. It was the worst sectarian attack since January 30, when a suicide bomber blew himself up in a mosque in the southern Shikarpur district, killing 61.
