Actor Sanjay Dutt, convicted under the Arms Act in the 1993 Bombay blasts case, has asked the Supreme Court to give him six more months before he is imprisoned to allow him to complete his film commitments. The top court will today decide on whether it will hear his appeal. Dutt moved his petition on similar grounds as another convict Zaibunissa Kazi, arguing that their punishment should be kept on hold until the Maharashtra governor or the President of India decides on pardon.
