Police has detained more than 100 congress workers, and prominent Congress leaders like Shankersinh Vaghela, GPCC president Arjun Modhvadia and former president Siddharth Patel . They were protesting against state irrigation law in Gandhinagar. Section 144 was in place during the protest.
