A constable posted in Unjhani police station of Badaun was arrested and sent to jail on Saturday after a girl alleged that he pushed her off the roof when she visited his house on Thursday evening.
The girl, a Class 12 student, had an acquaintance with constable Gaurav Titler. She was found injured and unconscious near his house on the police station premises on Thursday evening, cops said.
