The release of Rathin Basu the kidnapped CEO of AREVA T&D company in Noida has been secured by the police. His driver Ram Babu who too had been taken hostage along with Basu has been freed too. The MD had been kidnapped last night from Sector 65 of Noida and he has been freed under the jurisdiction of the Meerut police. The Meerut police carried out a raid early this morning at a house in Meerut. The police have arrested 3 suspects while three of their alleged asssociates have absconded. The case is being investigated further.
