One person was killed and seven other were injured when an under-construction building collapsed in the city, police said.
SSP Dharmendra Yadav said the incident took place in Tronica City police station area of the district where the under-construction building collapsed and those working in it were feared to be trapped under the debris.
He said efforts are being made to rescue those trapped in the debris. Yadav said one person has died while seven others injured have been sent to hospital for treatment.
