Pt Ravi Shankar wins a posthumous Best world music award at the 55th Grammys. The sitarist who passed away last year was nominated in the category alongside daughter Anoushka Shankar. Pt Ravi Shankar already had 3 Grammys to his credit and these add up to be the fourth and fifth in his repertoire of awards. Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, an Indian slide guitar player who has also won a Grammy Award in 1994, says, that he is extremely happy with this news.
