RSS targets youth; undergoes revamp

Gadkari being eased out is being attributed to the silent structural changes taking place in the RSS that is fast putting youth in the helm. Over the past year or so, the RSS has been remaking itself. Youth is being brought to the fore. For that matter, the orgainsation that doesn't exist, is preparing itself for the 2014 polls-and life in a new and modern India. Since the RSS is highly structured and cadre-based, changes in its structures are crucial to carrying out changes. During the past year the average age of all shets have been brought down to 55-60. All Pranths are in the 50-55 age bracket while Vibhags are in the 45-50 age group. All new leaders are being chosen with an emphasis on -'Clean' backgrounds, ideological grounding and ability to present innovative solutions to problems.
