Lecturer Sankalp Anand committed suicide along with his wife Nandini Anand on the morning of October 15. The incident happened a few kilometers from Kosikalan town.
Sankalp, son of famous Bollywood lyricist Santosh Anand, was a lecturer at Central Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science. He was a resident of DDA Flats in Sukhdev Vihar, New Delhi.
The couple pushed their five-year-old daughter Ridhima out of the way before jumping in front of the Agra-Delhi Intercity Express.
A multi-page suicide note was left by the couple. The note names several senior officers of the Central Home Department and Sandeep Mittal, DIG Police for forcing them to commit suicide following a misappropriation of funds worth several crores.
