Rahul Gandhi is set to be assigned a much bigger role in the Congress and an announcement to this effect is expected very soon. It is clear that the Congress is now putting in place its top leadership structure in the run-up to 2014. Sources have told NewsX that after an extended meeting of the Congress Working Committee, at around 7:30 PM the Congress is likely to declare Rahul as the working president of the party. Sources also indicate that Rahul's youth brigade will be given 30% reservation in the 2014 general election.
