The BJP insisting that party chief Gadkari didn't get any notice on tax evasion by his Purti group of companies. But NewsX has exclusive information that the statement is not correct. But according to sources in the I-T department. Gadkari was indeed served summons on January 4th at his Nagpur office. He was asked appear on January 11th. The summons was received by a man identified as Gadkari's personal assistant. The I-T sources also say that Gadkari requested for 2 weeks time to reply to the notice. After which the I-T issued him a fresh summons to appear on January 21st.
