After his Monday's Italy remark, BJP president Amit Shah on Tuesday targeted Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Hisar while addressing an election rally.
Referring the Haryana chief minister as Mujrewala, he said that Hooda in order to save his chair has been dancing to the tune of the Congress high command and sold agricultural land to builders for peanuts.
"Ye pehalwano ki bhoomi hai, is bhoomi ka mukhiya dilli ke darbar main mujra karta hai (This is the land of wrestlers. The chief of this land (Hooda) dances in Delhi Darbar (Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi)," Shah remarked.
Criticising Hooda for his 'Haryana No 1' campaign, the BJP president said that the slogan was misleading as the state had fallen behind on several fronts during the past 10 years of Congress rule.
"The state has fallen behind in every field and has performed poorly on the issues of unemployment, atrocities on Dalits and women security," Shah said.
Launching a scathing attack on former chief minister Om Prakash Chautala for his Tihar Jail remark , the BJP president said, "I read Chautala's statement that he will take oath from Tihar jail. Do you want to choose a chief minister who will run his government from Tihar Jail?"
Shah, who addressed a series of rallies in Haryana, sought votes for BJP nominees promising a clean and transparent government.
Referring to BJP senior leader and party's Narnaund candidate, Capt Abhimanyu, Shah said the nominee was well educated and dynamic.
While BJP has so far not declared anyone as its chief ministerial candidate, Shah further said that Haryana needs a dynamic, well educated and young CM, who will work with greater zeal and vigour for the people of his state.
