Mumbai: ACP Dhoble in the dock; hawker dies during raid

More trouble for Mumbai's controversial police officer ACP Vasant Dhoble. A 35 year old hawker named Madan Jaiswal died due to heart attack in Vakola area of Mumbai when ACP Vasant Dhoble was conducting a raid against illegal hawkers in the area. When the hawkers saw ACP Dhoble arrive in police jeep withanti-encroachment van in tow, they began running. Amongst them was a hawker named Madan Jaiswal who fell on the street. Jaiswal was rushed to V N Desai Hospital where he succumbed to heart attack.
