Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj has stressed on the sinister side of the 6th Delhi gang-rape suspect, the one who claims to be a minor. Swaraj revealed that the boy called the 23-year-old girl a "sister" while egging her on to take the option of taking their bus for her ride home. It was the juvenile among the six arrested who lured the girl and her male friend to board the bus at Munirka before she was gangraped and the duo was tortured and thrown out of the bus on December 16. Swaraj said there was need to complete proceedings in a rape case within six months of the incident. She also said a rape-cum-murder convict sentenced to death should not be given the option of a mercy petition.
