As counting is underway for Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly polls, BJP is all set to preform a hat-trick in Gujarat while trends favour Congress in Himachal Pradesh, where it could wrest power from the Saffron party. As per the latest results from Gujarat, the BJP had confirmed its victory in 17 seats. while the Congress has won eight seats and GPP none as yet. As far as the lead goes, BJP leads in 120, which is more than the number required to form the Government. Congress in leading in 58 seats and GPP in 2 seats. Celebrations have already started breaking out among BJP workers in Ahmedabad. In Himachal Pradesh, Congress is poised for a victory with it leading in 35 seats while BJP leads in 28 seats.
