In the 2G case, while the Congress prepares to train its fire on the Opposition, the focus of the entire controversy is slowly turning out to be PAC chairman and senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi. The CAG is under cloud for using one of the 3 formulae that Joshi had allegedly suggested to calculate the loss on the distribution of the 2G spectrum in the absence of an auction. The formula in question was based on an equity infusion through FDI in two companies, Swan and Unitech, that won the 2G licences in 2008. Former CAG official RP Singh who made the allegations about Joshi's role in the matter, explains the issue further.
