The BJP is split wide open. And unable to control the dissent within the BJP's self-professed inter-party democracy is feeling the strain. The party on Saturday indicated that it may take disciplinary action against Jethmalani for demanding the resignation of party president Nitin Gadkari. Further, it also disagreed with Jethmalani's stand of going against the party line on the appointment of the new CBI director. The party however has remained mum on whether it will take action against other leaders such as Yashwant Sinha and Mahesh Jethmalani who have made the same demands.
