The creator of well known Indian comic Chacha Chaudhary, cartoonist Pran Kumar Sharma has died.
Born in Kasur near Lahore, in Pakistan, Pran sketched Chacha Chaudhary for the Hindi magazine Lotpot, which made him famous.
Pran also created other cartoon characters such as Shrimatiji, Pinki, Billoo, Raman and Channi Chachi, which are regularly published in Indian magazines.
