Today is the day petrol heads across the country have been waiting for with the Indian Grand Prix beginning at the Buddh International circuit. Practice starts today with all 12 teams in the fray. Saturday is when qualifying begins which will determine where the drivers will be ranked for the all important race day on Sunday. Indian hopes rest on the country's sole F1 driver Narain Kartikeyan, while Sahara Force India will be desperate to impress on home soil and perhaps snatch a podium finish. Double world champion Sebastian Vettel won last year's race.
