The opposition parties in Bihar were badly exposed, when they enforced a day-long statewide bandh on a false pretext, and put the common public through much hardship for absolutely no reason. The bandh was called to protest the case of a missing school boy who was presumed to be murdered, after he eloped with a girl. Both the boy and the girl were however found in Delhi, but not before there was large scale violence in the Madhubani district that claimed at least two lives. Nearly 3000 persons, including RJD President Lalu Prasad and his LJP counterpart Ramvilas Paswan were arrested during the bandh, that led to suspension of rail and road services.
