The age old brilliance and grandeur of the famed Madhubani painting of Bihar is set to get a new dimension. Because a group in Mithila region of the state are gearing this artform to protect trees. The work under the aegis of the Gram Vikas Parishad, with the goal of saving every tree in and around Madhubani before it is cut down. And they nurture ambitions of institutionalising the movement.
