Railways seems to be the next focus of reforms. It's a Ministry that the Congress has taken back after 16 years and is looking to completely overhaul after Mamata Banerjee's exit. There are plans of fare rationalisation, privatisation and improved infrastructure. Many heavyweights are said to be eying the Railway Ministry. But sources tell NewsX that Jairam Ramesh, Ghulam Nabi Azad and Jyotiraditya Scindia are the names the government is considering. But here, Jyotiraditya Scindia seems to have an edge over the other two contenders.
