CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury, in an exclusive interview to NewsX, said that the country needs alternative reform policies and not an alternative government. Claiming the Bharat bandh against diesel hike and FDI in retail he said that, "UPA doesnt enjoy a majority in the Parliament to bring in these reforms." He shared dais with BJP's Nitin Gadkari and Murli Manohar Joshi at a demonstration against FDI in retail and hike in diesel prices. The protest was organised by traders' organisations supportive of BJP at Jantar Mantar here.
