Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Wednesday said the situation in strife-torn Kokrajhar district and other areas is coming back to normal, and added that the displaced persons are returning to their respective villages. "You will be happy to know that the situation in Kokrajhar and other areas is coming back to normal. Several measures have been taking place; the good sign is that people are returning back to their respective villages," he said. Gogoi said 14 camps have been closed, and added that more than 12, 000 people have already returned back. "In fact, most of the people have expressed their desire to go back to the villages.
