The National Commission for Women (NCW) has decided to remove Alka Lamba from the enquiry committee which is probing into the molestation case of a teenage girl by a mob in the heart of Guwahati almost a week back. She has been removed by NCW chief Mamta Sharma following a faux pas in which Lamba had revealed the name of the victim at a press conference. The NCW member had even defended naming the victim, pointing that the report was not complete.
