To many people Santosh Kumar Singh is dead, at least officially. So this 32-year-old has hit upon a novel idea to get his 'life' back. While the presidential elections are giving political parties sleepless nights, Singh believes this to be the best time to make himself heard. Declared dead by the Uttar Pradesh government, Singh has decided to file his nomination for the race to Raisina Hill to prove that he is still breathing. "I chose to file my nomination for the upcoming elections to remind the establishment that I am alive," Singh, holding a receipt from the returning officer in his hand, said. After six months of protest at Jantar Mantar, Singh attracted some media attention but no one in the government responded to his pleas.
