In a press conference, mediators, for the release of abducted Sukma collector, said that Government is set to release 3 Naxals. The further said that Maoists had given a list of 6 people they wished to be released, out of which the government will choose 3. The Maoists yesterday released Sukma collector Alex Paul Menon, after 13 days of abduction. In the last seven weeks alone, the Naxals have kidnapped two Italians, one MLA and one district collector. In each case, the concerned state government has buckled before the Naxals - to secure the release of the hostages.
