A blast in a workshop in Kolkata last night has killed 2 people and injured at least 7 others. It is said to have been caused by crude bombs stored there. Reports say the bombs exploded around 9 p.m. in the ground floor of a three-storied building of Metiabruz locality when about 15 embroidery workers were working. The injured were shifted to the State-run SSKM Hospital. Sources said the condition of some of them was serious. The entire area was cordoned off. The exact reason is still not clear and there have been no arrests in the case yet.
