Look out notice has been issued to the Dwarka couple who had locked up their domestic help and gone off to Bangkok. They have been accused of abusing the girl. NGOs are demanding exemplary punishment for the couple. The Child Welfare Committee has recorded the girl's statement and awaits strict action against the abusive couple including arrest and cancellation of licence to practice medicine.
Police have lodged an FIR against the couple under the Juvenile Justice Act, Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, Child Labour Prohibition and Regulation Act and IPC. The victim had also complained to Child Welfare Committee that she was beaten up by the couple even for small mistakes. The couple had also allegedly installed CCTVs inside the house to keep a watch on her.
