The BCCI may have tried to play down the rift in the Indian team, portraying itself as being impartial, but a different game could be playing out behind the scenes. It seems that the BCCI is with MS Dhoni in this case. The board has hinted its support for the skipper in his ongoing dressing room tussle with Virender Sehwag. Senior BCCI official Rajeev Shukla has openly come out in support of Dhoni, justifying his decision to drop senior players from the team. Shukla says it is up to the captain and coach to decide and implement a rotation policy.
