Army confirms 17 jawans dead in two deadly avalanches in Kashmir on Wednesday. Toll may go up further. 14 confirmed dead in avalanche at Brigade HQ at Davar in Gurez and 3 more in sonamarg, Northern Kashmir, near the Line of Control. Search and recovery missions launched on war footing. Incident happened at 10 pm Wednesday.
