A 6 month girl child was abandoned on 13008 down Howrah-New Delhi Toofan Express on Tuesday. Passengers on the Howrah bound Toofan mail noticed an abandoned baby a reserved compartment, while the train was passing through Madhupur Station in Jharkhand. The 6-month old girl was left wrapped in a cloth on a berth on the S1 coach. But unlike Delhi's Falak, this girl had no injury marks on her body. The passengers alerted the TTE about the baby girl. She was handed over to the GRP when the train stopped at Asansol in West Bengal.
