Sanjeev Bhatt, the suspended Gujarat IPS officer and one of the foremost critics of Chief Minister Narendra Modi was arrested yesterday. The police also conducted search operations at his house. The Gandhinagar police claimed that Bhatt allegedly forced constable K D Pant to file a false affidavit stating that Bhatt was present at a meeting where Modi allegedly asked police to go slow during the 2002 riots.
