India News: The last rites of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian prisoner who died after being brutally attacked in a jail in Pakistan, will be conducted at his village in Punjab this afternoon. The Punjab government has declared him a martyr and will accord him a state funeral there.
His body was flown back in a special plane that landed in Amritsar last evening. It was a tragic homecoming.
