As the BJP is yet to take a final call on the name of its prime ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has eulogised the party patriarch, LK Advani, recalling how the NDA Government functioned remarkably well under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Advani.
Though he refused to entertain a query whether he sees Advani as an "acceptable" prime ministerial candidate against the backdrop of his stated position that the NDA prime ministerial candidate should have secular credentials, Kumar told mediapersons in Patna on Monday that Advani is a respected and an experienced leader and he was also declared the PM candidate for the last Lok Sabha elections in 2009.
