Modi is the only serving chief minister in the party's topmost decision making body. He is likely to rejoin the likes of veteran leader L.K. Advani, leaders of opposition Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley besides former party presidents Murli Manohar Joshi and Venkaiah Naidu. "It is almost certain that Modi will make a comeback. This decision is of paramount importance ahead of 2014 general elections," said a party leader.
