The U.S. Commerce Department has issued its final decision over anti-dumping and countervailing duties of large-diameter welded pipe imports from four countries including South Korea.
Imports of large-diameter line pipe from South Korea were assigned a final dumping margin of seven to 22-point-four percent, down from a preliminary rate of 15 to 22 percent set in 2018.
Three other countries -- Canada, Greece and Turkey -- were also assigned different final duty rates from 2018.
If the International Trade Commission affirms that U.S. industries have been damaged by the imports of these products, tariffs will be placed on the goods for the next five years.
