Wallace's Giant Bee a.k.a Megachile Pluto Has Been Re-discovered

A Beast honey bee which is the span of a human THUMB has been re-found a very long time after it was most recently seen.

The huge bug – which is the world's biggest honey bee – was found on a little-investigated remote Indonesian island.

Known as Wallace's goliath honey bee, a group of researchers found a solitary live female amid an undertaking toward the North Moluccas islands in January.

They shot and captured the animal, which is depicted as being multiple times bigger than an European bumble bee.

The creepy crawly was first observed in 1858 by English naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace on the tropical Indonesian island of Bacan.

A few examples of the tremendous jawed honey bee were next found in 1981, however it had not been seen since until the current year's undertaking.
