Police officers formed a human ladder to rescue an 11-year-old boy who was washed downstream for two kilometers on a river in northwestern China.
The CCTV video, shot in Kashgar Prefecture in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on February 14, shows a police car moving on a road to chase the boy washed away in a nearby river.
After the policemen come out of the vehicle, one officer runs down into the river through the slope and manages to grab the boy, while three other officers form a human ladder quickly to help pull them up onto the shore.
Two more people can be seen joining the rescue and pull the boy out of the river in less than a minute.
According to reports, the boy fell into the river accidentally when he was playing on the bank.
The boy was sent to hospital and he was confirmed to be alright after a checkup.
