Excited huskies mush around Suffolk forest in dog-racing championship

Competitive Siberian Husky racing is in its 23rd season and it's one of the fastest-growing dog sports in the world.

Each rider has a team of three to eight Huskies tasked with pulling the bike around racecourses up and down Britain.

Teams of dogs and their owners, drivers and trainers congregate at various forest venues throughout the short winter season (mid- November to early March) to compete for the UK championship title.

This meeting at Elveden Forest in Suffolk was the penultimate in this year's 2019 British Championship.
