Whole Foods Raises the
Price on Hundreds of Items According to the 'Wall Street Journal,' the price hike has affected over 550 products. On average, the increase is around 66 cents. Whole Foods says it is due to inflation and rising cost demands from suppliers. The chain adds that another reason is expired and non-renewed contracts with hundreds of vendors. These deals previously allowed Whole Foods to sell many of its items at a
lower price. The increases come after the grocer
slashed prices on hundreds of goods after it was bought
by Amazon in 2017. Whole Foods, via statement Whole Foods, via statement
