Thousands march in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas on Tuesday to demand that humanitarian aid be allowed to enter the country, and to hear self-proclaimed interim president Juan Guaido speak.

Aid has been piling up on the border with Colombia. Guaido ordered the armed forces to allow the food and medical supplies in during the protests, saying that it must arrive before February 23, reported AP.

At least 40 people have been killed since protests began and Guaido declared himself interim president. Maduro has claimed that humanitarian aid is part of a US-led coup.
