Justin Bieber is reportedly “receiving treatment” for his depression, months after his marriage to Hailey Baldwin.
“Justin seems down and tired. He has been struggling a bit,” an insider revealed to
PEOPLE . “It has nothing to do with Hailey — he is very happy being married to her. It’s just something else that he struggles with mentally.”
“He has good help around him and is receiving some treatment,” the source added. “He seems confident he will feel better soon.” Another
PEOPLE insider confirmed that the “Sorry” singer is also getting counseling.
The 24-year-old
opened up about his mental health struggles in a recent interview with
Vogue, where he admitted to abusing the drug Xanax in the past, his struggles with sobriety, and how he still considers himself “emotionally unstable.”
His sobriety issues were also tough on his supermodel wife. “I grieved very intensely over the whole situation,” the 22-year-old shared.
Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez entered a treatment facility last year after she suffered from an “emotional breakdown.”
