Women’s underwear were turned into ceramic artworks, to protest sexual objectification, as part of a joint initiative between an art school in the town of Manises near Valencia and the city council. Women were asked to volunteer by taking off their underwear and immersing them in clay. The finished works will later be hung up throughout the town in order to raise awareness of the issue.
