The Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities have requested Scotland's National Museum to provide documentation proving that a casing stone from the Great Pyramid of Giza had been legally transferred from Egypt. The ancient stone is believed to be some 4,500 years old and is set to be featured in a permanent exhibition that explores more than 4,000 years of ancient Egyptian history.
