Chandrababu Naidu on a daylong hunger strike for special status to Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh CM and Telugu Desam Party Chief N Chandrababu Naidu is in the national capital to press for the demand for special status. Many opposition leaders arrived at the site to show their support to Naidu. Rahul Gandhi, former PM Manmohan Singh, Cong's Anand Sharma, and NC's Farooq Abdullah marked their presence. Naidu began the day by paying tribute to Mahatama Gandhi at Rajghat. He is sitting on a daylong hunger strike against the central govt over the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh. Yesterday PM Modi slammed the TDP leader for wasting tax payers money to ferry party supporters to Delhi instead of using party funds.
