Resumption of inter-Korean tour program hinges on second Kim-Trump summit

The success of the Kim-Trump summit scheduled to be held later this month in Hanoi, Vietnam could open up the possibility of South Korea resuming tours to North Korea's Geumgangsan Mountain.
That's according to Bae Kook-hwan , CEO of Hyundai Asan, a Hyundai subsidiary set up to deal with inter-Korean businesses.
He was speaking Saturday after visiting the North Korean tour site for two days.
Bae said the facilities at Geumgangsan are fairly decent but since they've been closed for more than a decade, they'd need repairs before tours could resume.
The tour program at Geumgangsan was suspended in 2008 after a South Korean tourist was shot dead near the resort.
