Firefighters saved a puppy from a burning five-century-old tree in southern China.
In the clip, shot in Shangrao City in Jiangxi Province on January 13, a fireman puts his hand into the tree trunk through a hole and tries to take out the puppy stuck inside.
A villager can be heard saying: “The puppy is useless. Put out the fire first.” However, a firefighter replies: “Is the dog not a life?”
According to reports, firefighters found a dog getting trapped inside the trunk when they tried to put out the fire.
Then they opened a small hole on the trunk and saved the dog successfully.
The fire was then also extinguished and the centuries-old tree was saved.
