The story begins with Preetham (Ganesh) who is a brat and takes life as it comes. He loafs around with his friends most of the times. However, life takes a turn when he chances upon Mahalakshmi (Yami) and it is love at first sight for him. From then on, he does his best to win her heart but it doesn’t work. On the other hand, Mahalakshmi is from a wealthy family and she is in love with her childhood sweetheart Balaji whom she has not seen for years. Her marriage gets fixed so she escapes from home. Preetham helps her out in this and things take a turn when her family informs that Balaji has been located and is being brought home.
