According to 'Variety,' Hudson will perform the Oscar-nominated song, "I'll Fight." The song was featured
in the documentary, "RBG,"
about Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The Academy took to Twitter
to share their excitement. It was previously reported that
the Oscars would only have
two song performances this year. But "I'll Fight" was added after the film and music community expressed disappointment that the song wouldn't be performed. The revered song
portrays Ginsburg as
a warrior for justice. The Supreme Court Justice is currently recovering from her latest bout with cancer.
